Vinicius Jr Says He “Acted As Agent” To Help Real Madrid Sign Mbappe And Bellingham

Vinicius Junior has lifted the lid on his behind-the-scenes role in shaping Real Madrid’s new Galactico era — revealing he personally persuaded both Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham to join him at the Bernabeu.

The Brazilian superstar joked that he effectively became their “agent” as Los Blancos assembled one of the most feared attacks in world football.

Vinicius: “Every Summer I Asked Mbappe When He Was Coming”

Vinicius admitted he repeatedly messaged Mbappe during the Frenchman’s long transfer saga before his 2024 free-agent move from PSG.

“Every summer I wrote to him: ‘When are you coming?’ I acted as an agent,” Vinicius said.
“With Bellingham I did too. I want to play with the best to have more options to win.”

The comments underline how player-to-player recruitment has become a powerful force in modern football — especially at elite clubs chasing global stars.

Galactico Chemistry Key To Real Madrid Dominance

Since Mbappe’s arrival, Madrid’s attacking core of Vinicius, Mbappe and Bellingham has driven their push for La Liga and Champions League glory.

Mbappe alone has delivered 82 goals in 90 games, while Bellingham’s midfield output has transformed Madrid’s structure — validating Vinicius’ recruitment push.

He explained the dressing-room logic:

“We spend more time with each other than with our family. We have to have a good relationship.”

Mbappe-Vinicius Rivalry Rumours Played Down

Speculation has often suggested tension between the two superstars over leadership status, but Mbappe insists the relationship is strong:

“I have a very good relationship with Vinicius… Two famous players on the same team sell a lot of papers.”

Their on-pitch understanding has largely silenced those concerns as Madrid’s attack continues to deliver.

Vinicius Happy In Madrid Despite Saudi Links

Despite lucrative interest from the Saudi Pro League, Vinicius reiterated his commitment to Real Madrid:

“I’m very happy. Playing for Real Madrid, having the life I have and my family makes me happy.”

With his contract running to 2027, Madrid are expected to prioritise an extension to secure the face of their next era — the same player who helped recruit its biggest stars.
