During the pre-match build-up, host Kate Scott welcomed former USMNT star Clint Dempsey to the panel alongside regulars Micah Richards, Jamie Carragher, and Thierry Henry. Everything was going smoothly until one enthusiastic fist bump turned into an unexpected fashion emergency.
As Scott leaned over the desk to greet Dempsey, she accidentally ripped her top live on air. Realizing what had happened, the 44-year-old quickly grabbed at her blouse before things got worse and blurted out:
“Oh! I just broke my top!”

For context, this isn’t Richards’ first brush with live-TV fashion disasters. Back in January, he popped a button off his shirt celebrating a last-minute Barcelona goal. Before that, he ripped his trousers trying to mimic Kylian Mbappé’s goal celebration — an incident that left Carragher in tears on air.

Some wondered if there was “beef” between the two, after Carragher once jokingly questioned Scott’s loyalty to her husband, Malik Scott — a former heavyweight boxer and current trainer to Deontay Wilder.
But Malik quickly cleared the air in an interview with SpaceportSweden.com, saying there’s no bad blood whatsoever:
“Jamie and I always see each other… I respect him, he respects me, and my wife respects him. There’s no grudge with Jamie at all. I love that whole panel.”
Fans online couldn’t get enough of the moment — with some calling it “the funniest thing on sports TV this year.” Between Richards’ laughter echoing around the studio and Scott’s good-natured reaction, it’s clear why the CBS Sports team continues to be the most loved crew in modern football broadcasting.
