Nigerian forward Blessing Owolabi Kenya has taken the Kazakhstan Women’s Football League by storm, scoring a sensational 30 goals in 24 matches during the 2025 season.

The 19-year-old prodigy from Nakamura FA in Lagos delivered a standout campaign that also saw her register 20 assists, firmly establishing herself as one of Africa’s brightest emerging stars in women’s football.

Kenya began the season with Biik Kazygurt, where she scored a staggering 22 goals in 12 appearances before completing a mid-season loan move to Tumiris Turan. Her goal-scoring magic continued there, adding another 8 goals in 12 matches to complete an unforgettable season.

Reflecting on her incredible year, Kenya credited her success to discipline, dedication, and the guidance of her grassroots coach, Rotimi Vianney Ronaldo.

Her remarkable performance has drawn attention from scouts across Europe and Africa, with many tipping her as the next big star to emerge from Nigeria’s growing pool of women footballers.

Kenya’s season wasn’t just about goals — her 20 assists highlight a player who can both finish and create, making her a complete attacking force and a role model for young female athletes aspiring to play abroad.
