South African Premier Division side TS Galaxy have officially announced the signing of Kayode Bankole, a promising Super Eagles goalkeeper, on a two-year deal.
The 22-year-old shot stopper joins the Rockets as a free agent after departing NPFL champions Remo Stars at the end of last season. His contract with the Sky Blue Stars expired following a successful five-year spell.
Bankole emerged as one of the standout young goalkeepers in the Nigeria Premier Football League, playing a pivotal role in Remo Stars’ rise to the top of Nigerian football.

TS Galaxy’s acquisition of the young goalkeeper signals their intent to strengthen their squad with fresh international talent, particularly one with national team experience.
Bankole has already made his debut for the Super Eagles, earning a cap in what is expected to be a long-term role in Nigeria’s national team setup. His move to a competitive league like South Africa’s Premier Soccer League (PSL) could further enhance his chances of regular call-ups.
