Bayer Leverkusen have made an initial offer for Quinten Timber. According to Martijn Krabbendam, however, Feyenoord are unimpressed by the proposal.
Leverkusen have pounced for Timber, as his contract at De Kuip is expiring and he currently doesn’t want to renew. That’s partly why the captain’s armband went to Sem Steijn, but the midfielder is also of interest to other clubs.
Erik ten Hag’s side lead the way out of the interested pack, and after some latent interest, have made an initial offer. However, the undisclosed sum is reportedly nowhere near close to what Feyenoord want.
Earlier this window, Dávid Hancko, Quilindschy Hartman, Igor Paixão, and Antoni Milambo, among others, left Feyenoord. Calvin Stengs is expected to leave too. Bayer Leverkusen previously grabbed Malik Tillman from PSV and Ernest Poku from AZ Alkmaar.
