Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade, has signed a two-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain Féminines, according to aclsports.com.
The 25-year-old forward joins the French side after a successful four-and-a-half-year spell with Atlético Madrid Femenino, where she made 139 appearances and scored 40 goals, helping the club lift the 2021 Spanish Super Cup and the 2023 Copa de la Reina.
Known for her pace, creativity, and eye for goal, Rasheedat Ajibade arrives in Paris fresh off captaining Nigeria to a record-extending 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco, where she was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
At PSG, she reunites with compatriot Jennifer Echegini, adding further depth and dynamism to the club’s attack.
Ajibade brings with her a wealth of experience from top European leagues, coupled with proven leadership on the international stage.
Her arrival underscores PSG’s ambition to bolster their squad ahead of a demanding campaign in the UEFA Women’s Champions League and Division 1 Féminine, injecting both international pedigree and attacking firepower into their ranks.
