Besiktas Confirm Announcement Date For Ndidi

Turkish Süper Lig side Beşiktaş have reportedly locked in a date to unveil Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi as their newest signing, according Soccernet.ng.

Ndidi’s long-awaited move to join the Turkish giants will be officially unveiled today after the midfielder completed his medical examinations in Istanbul, per Soccernet.ng’s social media page.

The Super Eagles star arrived in Turkey earlier this week to finalise his transfer from Leicester City in a deal worth around €9.5 million.

Ndidi passed his medical on Thursday, which paved the way for the announcement. However, Per Nigerian Journalist, Buchi Laba, Beşiktaş postponed making it public as the club were focused on their UEFA Europa Conference League fixture.

Wilfred Onyinye Ndidi Move to Turkish club Beşiktaş J.K. Will 100% be announced Today. Medicals successfully passed Yesterday.

With that match now out of the way, the Black Eagles are set to present Ndidi to fans later today. The 28-year-old has penned a three-year deal with the option of a fourth, adding experience to a midfield that will look to challenge for the Süper Lig title this season.

Ndidi’s arrival follows another major Nigerian transfer to Turkey, with Victor Osimhen sealing a record-breaking €75 million move to Galatasaray from Napoli last month.

The two Super Eagles stars are set to face off in one of Turkish football’s most anticipated rivalries.

Another Nigerian set to follow Leicester City man
The Turkish Süper Lig could be set for another Nigerian arrival, as a Super Eagles star considers a move amid interest from two top-flight clubs.

Laba revealed that the unnamed player has been the subject of formal enquiries, though neither side has yet submitted an official bid.

Nigeria Super Eagles and Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen hugs Wilfred Ndidi.

The player — who also has offers from England and Spain — is reportedly open to joining the growing list of Nigerians in Turkey, following Osimhen’s move to Galatasaray and Ndidi’s switch to Besiktas.

His final decision is expected to hinge on factors such as game time, contract terms, and the chance to compete in European tournaments.
