Real Madrid Complete New Signing Registration With La Liga

Real Madrid have successfully registered new signing Alvaro Carreras with La Liga ahead of the 2025/25 season.

A former Real Madrid academy trainee, the left-back arrived at the club earlier this month, signing from SL Benfica in a deal worth €50 million.

Carreras signed a six-year contract with Real Madrid, committing to the Merengues until the summer of 2031.

Set to compete for the starting spot in Xabi Alonso’s lineup, the youngster has now been successfully registered with La Liga.

Indeed, Carreras’ name can now be seen on La Liga’s official transfers page for the new season, confirming his registration, while he also appears on the Real Madrid squad list on the league’s website.

While there are a number of clubs who have had problems with player registration in La Liga due to Financial Fair Play issues, including Barcelona, Real Madrid have not faced any such hurdles.

The Spanish capital giants had already registered Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen earlier in the summer and have now done so with Carreras as well.

Franco Mastantuono is yet to be registered, although Real Madrid are potentially waiting for him to be officially presented next month before proceeding with the formality.
