What Delays Osimhen Move To Galatasaray
The official announcement of the transfer Victor Osimhen to Galatasaray from Napoli has been delayed as the Italian club have yet to receive the bank guarantees they have insisted on before they will sign off on the deal.
II Mattino newspaper reported that the bank guarantees are now expected today after which Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis will sign off on the deal.
It was further reported that the Turkish bank QNB is now working on the financial aspects of the guarantees and letters of credit.
Napoli and Galatasaray have agreed on the fundamentals of the transfer and only final details remain, which the Galatasaray President collaborated.
The Turkish champions will pay Napoli 75 Million Euros, with the first installment of 40 Million Euros immediately, while the balance is paid next year.
Galatasaray will pay Napoli 10% of the transfer fee should Osimhen move again by 2027.
They cannot sell the striker to another Italian club for the next two years and should they breach this, they will pay a fine of 30 Million Euros.
