Osimhen’s €75M Clause Expires Midnight
According to leading Italian sports newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the 75 Million Euros release clause on Victor Osimhen will expire by midnight.
II Mattino newspaper also confirmed this July 10 deadline.
This is contrary to earlier reports that the release clause will be up on Tuesday, July 15.
This midnight deadline will therefore mean that if any club failed to pay this amount before midnight, it would be left for Napoli to decide thereafter how much they will sell Osimhen.
Galatasaray have agreed to pay this release clause in installments over several years, but Napoli have insisted on bank guarantees for the player’s transfer to the Turkish champions.
Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal are ready to pay the termination clause, but they are yet to receive the green light from Osimhen.
