With just 24 hours remaining before the expiration of the 45-day deadline issued by the Nigeria Football Federation’s Players Status and Arbitration Committee (NFF PSAC), the majority of Nigerian football clubs sanctioned for indebtedness are yet to comply with the committee’s ruling.
According to findings, only Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) and Starbuilders FC have fully settled their financial obligations as directed by the PSAC in rulings made between February and March 2025.
All other affected clubs risk dire sanctions, including player registration bans, point deductions, and potential expulsion from their respective leagues if they fail to act before the Monday, June 2, 2025, deadline.
3SC is reported to have fulfilled its obligation to striker Sikiru Alimi, paying a total of ₦1.5 million in accordance with the PSAC’s instalment ruling. Starbuilders FC also settled its financial dues to Mocdim FC, becoming the second club to fully comply.
