Bruno Living His United ‘Dream’

Bruno Fernandes says he is ‘living a dream’ at Manchester United despite outside noise surrounding his future.

Our club captain helped the Reds record a final-day victory over Aston Villa, with Amad and Christian Eriksen both on the scoresheet in M16.

Speculation has begun to grow over the past 48 hours regarding whether Fernandes could soon call time on his five-year spell at the club.

But having spoken to MUTV after the contest against Unai Emery’s side, Bruno insisted his focus is on turning things around at Old Trafford.

“It is just the way I deal with things, I want to help as much as I can. I am just living my dream,” said Bruno post-match.

“[I am] just a very lucky guy who is living his dream in one of the best club’s in the world, in the best league in the world. What more can I ask?

“I just have to give it my all, for my team-mates, for myself, for my fans and for everyone who has been through every moment with me. That’s all.”

Fernandes played yet another 90 minutes, his 57th appearance of the season, having amassed a total of 19 goals and 20 assists in 2024/25.

With two post-season matches to come later this week, our no.8 was happy with the way things are beginning to click as we reach a huge summer period.

Who was Man of the Match against Villa?
“Obviously, I think more than the win is the performance that we put in,” added Fernandes.

“You could see the team playing football with great personality, showing off all the qualities that we have and all the things that we have been working on during the season.

“It was easy today for us to do that because we were not playing for anything in this game in particular. We gave off a different image, and a different image during this campaign.”
