Arsenal player Alessia Russo is officially the Barclays Women’s Super League top goalscorer for the 2024/25 season.
Our number 23 was on the scoresheet 12 times this campaign, and we share the award with Khadija Shaw from Manchester City.
She opened her league account in November against her former club, Manchester United, and proceeded to score in the next five consecutive matches.
Alongside her goal tally, the England international also contributed three assists. Her final WSL goal this season came away to Aston Villa in April.
Russo has 36 goals in 71 appearances for the club and is our women’s team’s second all-time top scorer at Emirates Stadium with 11, just behind Beth Mead.
