Super Eagles Coach Set to Scout NPFL Talents After European Tour

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, will return to Nigeria before the end of the month to scout players in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Chelle, who was appointed head coach in January, is currently on a European tour to engage with the team’s top stars.

It was reported that Chelle, alongside his assistant Hedi Taboubi, recently visited England-based players Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi. The duo also met Nantes winger Moses Simon in France.

Continuing his tour this week, Chelle is set to watch several NPFL matches upon his return to Nigeria.

The Super Eagles will face the Amavubi of Rwanda in a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Kigali on Friday, March 21. Four days later, Nigeria will host the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
