The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau MON, alongside the Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Mallam Shehu Dikko, conducted a site inspection for the proposed NFF Hotel and new training pitch near the NFF Headquarters inside the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The ambitious project aims to establish a modern accommodation and training facility exclusively for Nigeria’s national football teams.
During the site tour, key factors such as security, accessibility for players and staff, and proximity to training amenities were thoroughly evaluated. Discussions also covered the project’s timeline, budget, and possible partnerships with private investors.
The inspection team included top NFF officials like General Secretary Dr. Mohammed Sanusi and Technical Director Coach Augustine Eguavoen, as well as aides from the NSC, including former NFF General Secretary Barr. Musa Amadu and Mallam Salihu Abubakar.
This initiative aligns with the NSC’s mission to foster sports development in Nigeria by endorsing programs that strengthen the country’s sporting infrastructure.
