Kelechi Iheanacho joins Middlesbrough on loan from Sevilla

Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho has completed a loan move to Sky Bet Championship club Middlesbrough until the end of the season.

Iheanacho, who joined Sevilla on a free transfer last summer, scored three goals in 11 appearances for the Spanish side.

The 28-year-old brings extensive experience, having played over 300 career matches and scoring 85 goals. On the international stage, he has netted 15 goals in 57 appearances for Nigeria.

The versatile striker was instrumental in Leicester City’s promotion back to the Premier League last season before moving to Sevilla.

Iheanacho started his professional journey at Manchester City, where he won the League Cup, before transferring to Leicester City in 2017.
