Liverpool stay top as Arsenal hold Man City

Liverpool will finish the week on top of the table, thanks to their 2-1 win over Brighton on Sunday.

The Reds had to fight from a goal down to seal three maximum points.

Danny Welbeck gave the Seagulls an early lead in the first half.

But Luis Diaz levelled for Liverpool after the break, before Mohamed Salah fired in the winner.

The result took Jurgen Klopp’s men to 67 points.

They now have two more than Arsenal, who played out a goalless draw with Manchester City.

City, who are looking to win the Premier League title for a fourth consecutive season, are in third place with 64 points.
