Osimhen doubtful for Napoli vs Inter Milan

Victor Osimhen risks missing Napoli’s Serie A clash with Inter Milan on Sunday due to a muscle injury.

The Partenopei revealed in an official statement on Friday that Osimhen trained separately from his teammates due to a muscle injury suffered in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League clash with Barcelona.

The forward was in action for 90 minutes in the 3-1 defeat to the Blaugrana.

The Nigeria international now has one day to prove his fitness ahead of the game against Inter Milan.

Osimhen has scored 13 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions this season.

Napoli currently sit 7th in the Serie A table, seven points below 4th-placed Bologna.
