The Nigeria National League, NNL, on Monday expelled Malumfashi FC from the division.
The NNL took the decision after the club broke the codified rules and regulations guiding the league.
Malumfashi, according to a statement by the NNL, failed to honour two consecutive games in Conference D against Sokoto United and City FC of Abuja.
They also failed to honour a rescheduled game against Sokoto United in Kaduna last month
A fine of N1 million was also imposed on the club.
Results of all the matches played by Malumfashi FC this season have all been cancelled.
Consequently, the NNL has mandated the Katsina Football Association to help in the recovery of all fines imposed on Malumfashi, especially as it concerns the items forcefully taken from referees in the match against Sokoto Utd in Malumfashi.
