2023 AFCON: How to watch Nigeria live in quarter-final action vs Angola

Nigeria are into the last eight of the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations being held in Côte d’Ivoire.

After qualifying as runners-up from Group A, the Super Eagles delivered a comprehensive display against Cameroon in the round of 16 to advance to the quarter-final stage of the competition.

Angola stand between them and a place in the last four, with the former booking their spot in the last eight with a 3-0 win over Namibia.

Among the favourites to be crowned champions, here is how you can watch Nigeria in the quarter-finals of 2023 AFCON.

When will Nigeria play in the AFCON quarter-finals?
Nigeria will play at Abidjan’s Stade Félix Houphouet-Boigny against Angola in the quarter-finals of the competition on Friday, 2 February. It will be on the same turf the Super Eagles beat Cameroon in the round of 16, to advance in the competition.

Kick-off will be at 17:00 local time in Abidjan, which is 18:00 local time in Nigeria.

2023 AFCON, held in 2024, is available to watch live across Africa and the rest of the world. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) aims to make the tournament accessible on free-to-air TV across the continent.

In Nigeria, the local broadcaster is AfroSport.

Other broadcasters globally include beIN Sport, which will broadcast the tournament in the Middle East and North Africa region as well as in France and the United States; CANAL+, which will show the event in French in Sub-Saharan Africa; GTV in Ghana; Supersports in South Africa; ZIGGO Sport in the Netherlands; Sky Sports in the UK &Ireland; and the CAF’s own media channels will also show games in some countries.
