The Nigeria Premier Football League(NPFL) is among the leagues that will be present at the upcoming 2023 Africa Nations Cup in Ivory Coast.
According to the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the NPFL is among the 24 participating countries’ leagues that will present players in Cote d’Ivoire.
Enyimba goalkeeper, Ojo Olorunleke is the sole representative from the NPFL in the tournament.
South African Premier League has the highest number of representatives with 12 players followed by Egypt which has 8 players.
Tanzania 7, Tunisia and Mozambique 6, Zambia 5, Algeria and Botswana have 4 players.
The competition is billed to kick-start from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
Nigeria is in group A alongside hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.
