NPFL announces new dates for outstanding fixtures

The Nigeria Premier Football League has rescheduled two outstanding matches.

The fixtures involved are Plateau United versus Rivers United and Katsina United v Enyimba.

The Chief Operating Officer of the NPFL, Davidson Owumi, disclosed this in a memo sent to the clubs.

The matchday 10 game between Plateau United and Rivers United initially scheduled for 25 December 2023 will now hold on 10 January 2024, while the Katsina United duel against Enyimba will take place on January 17, 2024.

The league body urged the concerned clubs to ensure that necessary logistics are put in place for a hitch-free games.

The matchday 17 fixture will be played on Saturday and Sunday across all the league venues.
