Fans Shocked After Remo Stars Demolish Shooting Stars In NPFL

Fans of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan were shocked Wednesday evening after Remo Stars humbled the Oluyole boys 3- 0 in Week Six of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL.)

Before the center referee signalled for the end of the match, fans of Shooting Stars were seen leaving the stadium with annoyance, saying that their team played worse match against home team.

Some of the Shooting Stars fans told our correspondent that their team did not play very well as they were shocked with the poor performance of Shooting Stars against Remo Stars.

“This is a worse game from our team.We came here at least to pick a point unfortunately we were thoroughly beaten. It is not yet over. When they come to Ibadan for return leg, we will have our revenge,”said one of the fans said.

Meanwhile Ahmed Akinyele scored through header in the 24th minute to give Remo Stars early lead.

The homers continued to dominate the encounter as penalty awarded to Remo Stars and quickly converted by Alimi Sikiru in the 39th minutes.

The visiting team made some changes in the second half but the changes did not make any meaningful impact as the homers controlled the game.

Sikiru scored at the close range to make it third goal in the 63th minute to condemn their opponents to total defeat.
