Heartland Queens football club of Owerri will wrap up preseason tour with the Betsy Obaseki football tournament in Benin.
The Owerri Land Ladies has been on preseason tour in preparation for the 2023/2024 NWFL season and Benin city in Edo state will be the last port of call.
Heartland Queens will take on familiar NWFL rivals Royal Queens in the opening fixture today at the University of Benin sports center and will subsequently battle Fortress Queens and FC Robo Queens in group C.
Heartland Queens defeated Royal Queens twice last season in both the home and away fixtures and will look to consolidate on that victory at this preseason tourney.
Royal Queens has also been paired in the same NWFL group A alongside Heartland Queens.
Both teams will also lock horns in the opening fixtures at the Dan Anyway Stadium Owerri.
This meeting will be a test run of what is to come when the NWFL kicks off proper.
Match will be streamed live on Heartland Queens Facebook page by 4pm today for all Heartland Queens fans.
