The Premier League (PL) outfit, Chelsea FC have announced a partnership renewal with the leading deodorant and antiperspirant brand, Rexona for another two years.

Following the renewal, both bodies will continue to carry out similar activities, such as the Breaking Limits program, which encourages young people with the confidence to move more. The partnership between the two entities was first launched in 2017.

Along with the alliance’s extension, the brand has announced that Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell will join the exclusive company of Sam Kerr, Melanie Leupolz, and Lauren James as a brand ambassador for the 2023/24 season.

Furthermore, the alliance will grow and launch new worldwide initiatives that leverage Rexona’s revolutionary technology and purpose to get everyone active, as well as best-in-class money-can’t-buy experiences, all while keeping fans at the centre of the partnership.

The company has also had an active involvement in the women’s game, backing the Chelsea Women’s team and boosting the profile of the club’s legendary players.

Chris Jurasek, Chelsea FC Chief Executive Officer, said, “Since 2017, we have been proud to partner with Rexona and we are thrilled to extend our relationship with the prestigious brand for two more years. Coming off the back of a hugely successful year for our partnership, we now look forward to our continued collaboration and creating innovative activations that will entertain and engage our millions of fans”.

Kathryn Swallow, Rexona Global Brand Lead, said, “We’re delighted to extend our longstanding partnership with Chelsea and continue inspiring football fans with the confidence to move more. We look forward to working with our exciting line-up of ambassadors and the club throughout the next season. We’re not done yet!“

Before this deal, the club bolstered its sponsorship case with brands such as Hilton, Oman Air, TMGM, The St.James, and Infinite Athlete.

Rexona is an Australian deodorant and antiperspirant brand that is now owned by Unilever. The brand was first introduced in 1908 and operates with different sobriquets in many overseas markets such as Sure in the US, UK, and India, Rexena in Japan and South Korea, and Shield in South Africa.

The Blues will be facing Burnley FC in their next clash today, as the club will be eyeing to bounce back in the ongoing English top-flight season. The five-time winners are currently standing eleventh on the points table.
