8-Year-Old Golfer, Funmilayo Beauty Oyero Is The Youngest In Team Lagos At Youth Games

There is no doubt that Lagos which is noted for its excellence is doing the right thing to develop sports according to the book.

Going into the 7th National Youth Games, which is ongoing In Asaba, Delta State, the Lagos State Sports Commission ensured that the athletes are of the right age as stipulated by the rules.

Sports Marketing International caught up with the youngest athlete in Team Lagos. Her name is Funmilayo Beauty Oyero, she is eight years old.

Oyero who said she would be representing Team Lagos in the golf event, said that her ambition is to do the state proud in the elite sport.

The Basic 4 pupil of Victory Children disclosed in clear term that she is in the National Youth Games to put the name of the state on the medal table and by God’s will she will do that when the game of golf tees off.
