The streaming platform of the Indian media broadcasting baron, Viacom 18, JioCinema has acquired the digital rights to the World Athletics Championships Budapest 23.
The world’s top athletes will congregate in Budapest from August 19 to 27 with the goal of achieving the highest honour.
To improve the live-watching experience, JioCinema will offer 360-degree coverage of the top Indian athletes as they compete against the greatest on the globe in Budapest. This coverage will feature previews, exclusive interviews, analysis, and expert comments.
Neeraj Chopra, the silver medalist at the 2022 World Championships and the Olympic champion, will be the focus of the 28-athlete Indian team. Long jumper Murali Sreeshankar is additionally one to keep an eye out for after taking home silver at the Asian Athletics Championships.
15 of the 28 participants will be making their World Championship debuts. Shaili Singh, a former World U20 Athletics Championships silver medalist, is the youngest of the group at 19 years old.
