Tottenham and Bayern Munich have reportedly reached an agreement over the transfer of Harry Kane, believed to be above the €100million (£86m) mark.

The Premier League club are understood to have accepted a bid of £86.4million for the 30-year-old striker, which was submitted on Wednesday. It’s now up to Kane to decide whether or not to make the move.

Tottenham, Bayern and Kane all wanted the situation resolved before the start of the new season, and it looks as if they’re going to get their wish.

Kane is entering the final year of his contract and Tottenham want to avoid losing him for free next summer, having received no guarantees from the player that he’d sign an extension if negotiations with Bayern were to break down.

The England captain was understood to be enjoying life under new manager Ange Postecoglou and has considered staying put, but a determination to win trophies before he retires has forced him to the brink of quitting his boyhood club.

Bayern have been after Kane all summer, with Thomas Tuchel urging his bosses to seal a deal for the forward, who has scored 280 goals for Tottenham.
