The Bundesliga unit, 1. FC Union Berlin have announced a new sponsorship deal with the premium streaming service, Paramount+.
Following this deal, the brand is set to serve as the main sponsor of the German club.
In accordance with the agreement, the men’s professional side will have the Paramount+ emblem on their shirts while competing in the Bundesliga, DFB Cup, and for the first time in the club’s long history, the UEFA Champions League.
Moreover, the logo of Paramount+ will also be displayed on the advertising boards at the An der Alten Försterei stadium, the home of the side which came fourth in the 2022-23 Bundesliga season.
A paid-on-demand video service, Paramount+ is wholly owned and operated by Paramount Global. The Paramount Media Networks, CBS Media Ventures, and Paramount Pictures collections make up the majority of the service’s content. Nevertheless, it also includes extras like live sports coverage, original television shows and movies, and more.
To add more to this deal between both parties, Union’s digital platforms will also feature advertisements for Paramount+, the digital subscription video streaming service from Paramount. This will increase publicity and reach for Paramount+ and its fantastic arrangement of popular shows, popular films, and exclusive originals throughout Germany.
Jan Boysen, Managing Director Marketing and Sales of 1. FC Union Berlin, said, “With Paramount+ we were able to win a renowned international partner for us as we continue our successful path of the last years. We are very much looking forward to the cooperation and of course to featuring the iconic logo on our new jerseys.”
