AC Milan continue to look to strengthen its squad during this summer transfer following their interest in signing Nigeria’s forward Samuel Chukwueze and Arnaut Danjuma with a meeting with their club Villarreal.
Daniele Longo has reported that the meeting takes place today (Wednesday). The Rossoneri know Danjuma very well and have kept tabs on him since his time in Belgium and that is why they welcomed his agent’s approach. The Netherlands international can arrive on a loan deal, with Geoffrey Moncada viewing it as a good opportunity. But the club are looking to lower Villarreal’s demand for a €4 million loan fee.
For the Nigerian player, the Spanish club want €35 million for Chukwueze, who Milan have not stopped keeping tabs on despite having one non-EU spot left in their side. Milan will make an attempt to reduce that asking price in the meeting later today, with the saga having stretched on some time now and the Rossoneri are yet to make a decision.
